Being such an advocate for innovation, I was shocked to see the article Welcome to the Department of Innovation on the Smithsonian website. So naturally I only glanced at it because, lets be honest, thinking about the state being innovative would lead to headaches. Then a colleague of mine pointed out that the logo is flawed (surprise). Take a look at it and see for yourself.

Another article by Michelle Malkin points out just whats wrong with the logo.

“3 interlocking gears arranged in this fashion will not move in any direction. They are essentially locked in place. Which when you think about it, is a perfect analogy of today’s government!”
